        NOTICE OF CHEBUCTO COMMUNITY NET SOCIETY
                ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

                7:30 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2008

        Spencer House, 5596 Morris Street, Halifax, N.S.


Several weeks ago I sent an e-mail to all members seeking nominees for the
Board. I am pleased to report we had sufficient responses to fill the
vacancies. This is very encouraging.

We are excited to report that our Wireless development project has been
completed and there will be a demonstration at the AGM. Our hope is that
this new service will give Chebucto the boost it requires to address our
financial difficulties. However, we will require the assistance of you the
members. Please try to get to this important meeting. We look forward to
seeing you there.
